Steve Carell writing episode for The Office

A fan just sent in an article about how the actors on the office many times are also the writers. It lists Steve Carell as writing last season’s finale. I would love to see Carell have a more active role in writing for the show. What are your thoughts?

Gravatar His writing on the Casino episode was fantastic. Specifically the "Afghanistan's with AIDS" dialogue and the quote "I hate so much about the things you choose to be." Plus his facial expressions during the two phone conversations with his two women were absolutely priceless, and he wrote it because he knew what he wanted to do with the scene. The man is a genius.. but I doubt he'll take over writing very much due to how busy he seems to be. Although that'd be nice!
