For they are jolly good fellows

Steve Carell recently attended the 30th annual Kennedy Center Honors Ceremony. If you've never heard of it here is a quick primer. It's sort of like a roast only instead of saying really mean and funny things, they say really nice and funny things. So it's basically a roast without balls. This year's honorees were Steve Martin, Brian Wilson, Diana Ross, Martin Scorsese and Leon Fleisher.

Steve Carell had his moment in the spotlight though, delivering a funny monologue about Steve Martin in which he said this:

"'I am in awe of Steve Martin. I admire his career. I respect him more than anyone, with the possible exception of Martin Scorsese."

Also, Hootie and the Blowfish played a medley of Beach Boys songs while President Bush danced along. That really happened. That is too surreal of an image to discuss any further so let me just say whoever video taped that(You must be out there.) email it to me and there is a free pizza in it for you. And I won't skimp on the toppings.

Oh nevermind. CBS is airing the entire special on December 26th. The writer's strike must be hitting them hard.

In other news, here is a picture of Steve picking his nose. The writer's strike must be hitting him hard too.
